Destroyers are often powerful, monstrous villains that seek to destroy societies, worlds or even entire universes - their motives can vary greatly from individual to individual but many of DC's great Destroyers are akin to forces of nature and destroying is as natural to them as breathing.

Extremely malevolent demons, psychotics and the most dangerous of the Multiversal Threats go under this category.
